Annual Security Report

A summary of policies and procedures prepared for the faculty and staff of East Mississippi Community College, published in compliance with the with the Jeanne Cleary Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act Amendments of 1989.

The Campus Police Department also publishes an Annual Security Report, which details EMCC’s policies and procedures regarding campus safety. A copy of that report, which contains the annual crime statistics report is available here. A printed copy is available upon request, please call Campus Police at 662.386.8011 to make a request.

This Annual Security Report is published in compliance with all applicable federal laws regarding campus safety and security.


Similarly, the Office of Postsecondary Education through the U.S. Department of Education, provides a Campus Safety and Security Data Analysis Tool. You can access that resource here (link to  Simply, choose “get data for one institution/campus” on the right side of the screen and select “East Mississippi Community College” as the name of the institution you are looking for.  All postsecondary institutions that receive Title IV funding are required to submit crime and fire statistics on an annual basis to the OPE Campus Safety and Security website, which populates the Data Analysis Tool.
