East Mississippi Community College's Information System Technology department will host a LAN (Local Area Network) Party March 31 at The Communiversity that will feature video games, virtual reality, and board games, as well as a gaming tournament.

The Golden Triangle Early College High School is accepting applications from rising freshmen from the Noxubee County and West Point Consolidated School Districts for the 2023-24 school year that begins in August.

Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle provided breakfast to students enrolled in Division of Nursing and Health Sciences programs Jan. 17 in the former Center for Manufacturing and Technology Excellence building on EMCC’s Golden Triangle campus, which is being converted for the use by the Division of Nursing and Health Sciences.

East Mississippi Community College's Division of Nursing and Health Sciences has seen major changes over the past year that include new leadership, the reinstatement of a popular program on the college's Scooba campus, and a commitment to further expand program offerings.

East Mississippi Community College's Adult Education department staff will soon begin hosting informational events in communities with elevated high school dropout rates thanks to a grant by 2nd Chance MS, a nonprofit organization devoted to promoting and funding initiatives related to adult education and workforce training.

Columbus resident Joe Howle was 19 when he fell from the water tower on the Scooba campus of then East Mississippi Junior College, but he did not let the accident slow him down.
