Overview

• Over the course of three grant periods, the Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi Foundation has awarded grant funding totaling nearly $591,950 to East Mississippi Community College to enhance the Wellness Center at the Scooba campus. The funding was used to purchase all new exercise equipment for the Scooba Wellness Center and to implement health and wellness initiatives on campus, in the local schools, and the community.

This grant will help to build a culture of wellness on the EMCC campus, which will extend into the surrounding community and schools.”
